Thomas P. Carney, Inc. was the General Contractor on the Sludge Cake Receiving & Pumping Facilities located on River Road in Princeton, New Jersey. The project consisted of the construction of a partially underground reinforced concrete building, two sewage sludge cake receiving bins with live bottom out-feed devices, one sewage sludge storage bin with live bottom out-feed devices, a pre-engineered metal superstructure, seven hydraulically driven sludge cake progressive cavity pumps, one activated carbon absorber system for odor abatement purposes and other appurtenant work.
